Octantis inertial navigation systems are tactical grade GNSS aided MEMS-based Inertial Navigation Systems (INS-GPS), for precise position, attitude and orientation information. Octantis is a MIL spec NAV system integrated with multi-constellation GNSS. The system runs a multi-mode Kalman filter making it suitable for high and low dynamic applications. Octantis 2, the latest offering in the Octantis family, makes use of vibration suppressing high quality (1 deg/hr.) gyros. Octantis 2 is more compact compared to its predecessors.
